Two new vaccination clinics open to residents of Waterloo Region

Waterloo Region – Two new vaccination clinics are opening in the coming days in Kitchener and Ayr for residents of Waterloo Region who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
On Thursday, April 8, members of the public will be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine at the New Vision Family Health Team, located in the Forest Hill Centre at 421 Greenbrook Drive in Kitchener.
Next week, beginning on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, members of the public will also be able to get vaccinated at Langs satellite site in Ayr, located in the North Dumfries Community Complex, 2958 Greenfield Road.
Anyone who has pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine through the Region of Waterloo booking system, and who has been notified it’s their turn to book an appointment, can already choose one of these new vaccination clinic locations amongst other locations.
Members of the public who are currently eligible for the vaccine are strongly encouraged to pre-register now, and when they receive notification to book an appointment, to do so right away.

Anyone who needs help to pre-register online is encouraged to reach out to a family member or friend for help. The quickest way to get an appointment is to provide an email or text (mobile phone number) when pre-registering for the vaccine.
