Located on Charles Street West, just steps from Victoria Park, 271 West has been serving Italian cuisine in Kitchener for many years. Originally located on King Street, the restaurant’s name comes from its original address. Although it relocated to Charles Street five years ago, it continues to be a popular downtown dining destination.

One of 271 West’s standout offerings is its selection of pasta dishes, made with fresh ingredients and house-crafted noodles. During our visit, we tried one of their daily specials: a chicken linguine Alfredo featuring broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, and garlic blended into a rich, balanced sauce. Combined with the restaurant’s inviting dining room, it made for an excellent lunch in the heart of downtown Kitchener.
